What are the Coronavirus symptoms and how I can protect me?

As the Corona is spreading day by day, and countless people are losing the battle of life due to Covid-19, everyone is worried about knowing if he is infected with this viral infection. Because every individual does not show symptoms, therefore, the topmost priority today of everyone is to protect themselves.

So, let us start how we can play an integral role in protecting ourselves and others.

Washing Hands

One of the most important precautions is washing hands. At least wash hands for more than twenty seconds with soap regularly. You can also use sanitizer for disinfecting your hands as it contains almost 60% alcohol whenever the soap is unavailable.

Maintain Distance

Maintain at least 6 feet distance if you are out for grocery or any other purpose, even at home with your family members. This caution is because some people do not show symptoms of the infection. Avoid gatherings or visiting crowded places.

Wearing Masks

Cover your mouth with mask or cloth when in public, or you are having flu and other infected signs. Do not wear used masks of other family members or health workers. Wash the cover regularly after removing it.

Sneezing and Coughing

Always cover your face with a tissue or bending your elbow because when a person sneezes or coughs, the aerosol droplets remain suspended in air and are a source for viral transmission to others.

Disposal of Used Masks and Gloves

Immediately wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water. Use a hand sanitizer if the soap is not readily available that contains at least 60% alcohol.

Usage of Disinfectants

Apply a disinfectant to the surfaces such as tablets, phones, toilets, doorknobs, tables, sinks, handles, faucets regularly. It will kill all the possible germs present on them. Regular cleaning of the places you mostly interact with almost reduces the possibility of transmitting viruses.

Proper Health Check-Up

Be vigilant for the infection symptoms if you feel fever, shortness of breath, or flu. Note your temperature if the heat prolongs. Immediately contact your physician if any of the sign develops.

Bottomline

These precautions, as mentioned earlier, act as the front line of defense in this situation where the vaccine has not been discovered. So, you can follow these guidelines and can save humanity with yourself, too, from this pandemic.
